- What does refused means?
- can one appeal or what?
- can she apply again?
- finally if they think one can not be selected then it is better not for one to be selected than be and at the end of all the trouble and stress one is still refused a VISA.....or does this oonly happen in Nigeria cause of the bad name we been given...
Pls! I will appreciate your comments, suggestions and comments
Yours Trully
David

Hi David,
Sorry to hear your sister was unsuccessful with her visa interview. Unfortunately in your sister's case, her occupation as a fashion designer is not listed on the government website (http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_1319.html) as one which requires at least two years of training or experience. She can still apply for the lottery again but the same scenario will apply. She needs to be able to show proof that she has completed 12 years of education "or" 2 years of experience working in a role that is listed on their occupations list.

HELLO,
My younger brother, a Nigerian was denied a DV lottery 2009 on the 15th of October 2009 in Lagos, Nigeria. He was denied because he was not able to remember his NECO exam number. Is it possible to appeal?
