Cousin Unjustly Arrested

Hi

Quite a while.................

I been busy trying to secure the released of my First Cousin who was arrestedby the Police and taken to where we call "PANTI" i.e it a terrible palce where homicide suspect are detainwhile there case is been investigated.

My cousin and his colleague were arrested because they wethat re working in a fastfood warehouse and some people among them were stealling cartoon of sardine.................the irony of the whole issue was that the CULPRITs have ran away it only the INNOCENT that were being punished.

U can't believe it my cousin and his colleague spent two whole day in the cell, while his bail was only made possible thru a friend friend who incidentally is an Senior Man.

Anyway I was able to secure his release after parting with some lumpy some of money.

The Questions being asked now by everyone is

1. Is the case a Homicide One

2. Is it lawful to detained someone without charge for more than 24hour

3. Is Bail free"thou it is being advertise that it is"?

4. The management of the Fastfood are they acting as GOD?

So tell me where else can all this happen if not in my good old city "LAGOS".

Well, thank GOD my cousin was released, cause not everyone that goes there come back easily.

Quick Monies on the Highway,

Yeah, am here again with another tale from my unique city "Lagos".
Yesterday, 15th July, while traveling to a neigbouring city Ibadan (the place is an old big town in Oyo State, Nigeria where the Premier University “University of Ibadan” is situated) to see a friend, along the way we encountered HOLDUP "it very common in Lagos, just come around to experience it" Yours truly thought it was the Police with their Illegal Check Point, but it was not, a big trailer belonging to one of the oil company carrying Motor Oil had an accident and tumble thereby spilling it contents on the middle of the road, fortunately the spilled motor oil was not soaked by the ground cause the soil was damp.

Anyway, Trust Lagosian, everybody that could lay their hands on any plastic containers (keg, bucket, drum) started scoping the spilled oil into the container with vigour and determinations as if their life depends on, it does o, since this is a quick way of making some doug while many will be some naira richer, some will be able to put food in their stomach for the night while the family will not go hungry. Surprisingly, both old and young, daddy & mummy including the children, were deeply involved in this quick business, this bring to remembrance Jesse, in Delta State sometimes ago where about 1000 people died while siphoning Petrol, but this was legal since it was only providence that provide this, even some people quickly went to nearby market to buy Plastic Containers and sell to make some cool cash.

Also, some area boys organised themselves so that they could collect monies before you could be allowed to go with your bounty and if you fail to pay them, it will be taken and give to the highest bidder.

The only person i.e. pity was the tanker driver since nobody was sympathizing with him,

So where else can you encounter this, that Lagos for you?

Wise Guy in Lagos

Hi everyone,

Well guess what happen yesterday when I was goning home after close of work.

I board a Danfo bus going to Ikeja form Yaba, as usual everybody were asked to pay for fare(50 naira) by the Conductor, one guy gave the Conductor 30naira and told him he was going to drop half way, but on getting to Maryland where he was suppose to alight, he did not and when the conductor ask him why he told him not to worry that he will balance him once we get to the final bus stop.

Funny enough, as the bus was getting to the last bustop, this guy just jump from the bus while it was on motion, the conductor ran after him and everybody started laughing.

Anyway, that is Lagos for you.

There's no place like my Lagos............................

It an exciting xperience to live in Lagos, Nigeria. I think there's no other place like Lagos, the hustle and bustle couple with the xtreme life been encountered, will make any Lagosian to survive in any city in the world.

Can it be compare to NY, capital NO,

Can it be compare to London, capital NO,

Can it be compare to Tokyo, capital NO,

Anyway, I have a lot to write about My city, I will definitely keep u posted.

PEACE AT LAST

I was able to get in touch with my friend yesterday, did not know that she has travel out of the country.

But was very happy to hear from hear, and have been chating with her since.

We've share a lot of things and what has happen since we lost contact, infact it is good to get in touch with a love one the feeling is very special.

I hope to get intouch with others.

I was a little down over the weekend?

But thank God am now getting better.

This few people who say they are fighting in the name of God are in fact out for their own good, since the innocent ones being killed are not in any way able to effect any change.
